It goes without saying that any industry with close links to IT is always going to be subject to plenty of innovation, but at ISE 2017 we were blown away by the level of investment many players had put into their offering.
What really struck us was how large the stands at the show were, and how much investment even apparently smaller companies were putting into stands – and there were lots of them!
ISE 2017 saw 1,192 of the world’s leading AV equipment vendors and service suppliers showcase the latest technology. What’s more, an all time high of 73,413 registered visitors attended from 150 different countries, representing an 11.7% increase over the 2016 show.
It was fantastic to see such a great turnout. It breeds confidence, and together with the knowledge that there is lots of margin being made up and down the supply chain, it’s clear that AV is in a very healthy position and the place where you’ll make decent margin.
