Insight held its annual Partner Forum at the Hilton Syon Park in Middlesex on the 31st of January, .

The event provided a great opportunity for resellers and vendors to connect early in the year. Vendors always appreciate it when key resellers hold these updates, taking us out of the day-to-day workload and stepping back to see how the business as a whole is going.

It demonstrates that they value the vendor contribution. After all, it’s a partnership and we both need each other. But it’s great to get an update, especially when very few resellers are holding these types of events.

The name ‘Insight’ is very apt too, as the event always provides excellent information and accurate predictions for the year ahead. This year, an analyst from IDC presented current trends and their vision for future trends, a key area of which will be around digital transformation.

It’s also extremely helpful when management teams all gather in one place. While Tier One vendors probably get a lot of management time throughout the year, some of the smaller vendors will not get management input for the rest of the year.

With so many events and awards on the calendar, it’s great that Insight has still managed to take the time out of the diary to hold these events and it’s great to see an event that prioritises collaboration between vendors and resellers continue to do so well each year.
